Policy on the Protection of Personal Information

Since its establishment in 1974, the Foundation has been engaged in a range of activities centered on promoting the “health and well-being of the public.” These activities include the development and promotion of spa and wellness facilities such as Kurhaus, the organization of health promotion seminars utilizing such facilities, and the operation of comprehensive health checkup centers aimed at the prevention and early detection of lifestyle-related diseases. In addition, the Foundation has carried out research and survey projects, health promotion initiatives, and health screening services related to these efforts.
Looking ahead, we will continue to place emphasis on preventive medicine that anticipates future societal needs, while addressing public health promotion in a multifaceted and comprehensive manner. We are committed to sincerely fulfilling the expectations of all stakeholders.
In promoting and developing these activities, we recognize that the proper protection of personal information of our customers and all related parties is an essential requirement. Accordingly, the Foundation implements the following measures:

    The Foundation acquires, uses, and provides personal information only within the scope necessary for the proper execution of its health screening, health promotion, and research activities, as well as for employment and personnel management. Personal information will not be handled beyond the scope necessary to achieve the specified purposes of use.

    The Foundation complies with laws and regulations concerning the handling of personal information, as well as guidelines established by the government and other relevant standards. In addition, we protect personal information in accordance with the JIS Q 15001 standard and the PrivacyMark guidelines for the healthcare and welfare sector.

    For all personal information handled within the Foundation, we implement reasonable organizational and technical measures to prevent and correct risks such as unauthorized access, loss, destruction, alteration, and leakage.

    The Foundation will respond appropriately, promptly, and sincerely to any complaints or inquiries regarding the handling of personal information.

    The personal information protection management system is regularly reviewed, including through audits, and is continuously improved.
